TEKNEIN incorporates many styles into his music including: synthwave, fashwave, darkwave, vaporwave, ambient, chiptune, glitch, dubstep, orchestral, phonk, and abstract FX (utilizing all manner of DAWs, instruments, and modern and vintage recording equipment).  Teknein is:  Otto Von Lebensraum.

A musician since 2002 (A6attoir A66ot [grindcore], Karnivorkian [doomcore]) , Otto took a break from music in 2004 to focus on work and family.  Inspired by the 2015 political climate and a new resurgence in 'fashy' music from that same period, he began experimenting with different styles of electronic music (with inspiration from Kraftwerk and YMO to Xurious and Cybernazi) thru 2017.  Over the next 2 years he built a large library of custom sound effects and samples, and without access to a modern DAW or music software- he imported those files into an emulated copy of MTV Music Generator 3 (PS2), and made his first track as 'TEKNEIN' in late 2019:
"Die Massen".

Not long afterward, he began experimenting with different software and workflows- as well as live recording using various analog devices (Roland's  SP-404, several Korg synths, as well as a KNV7000 Tecnics Workstation) — all mastered in Audacity.  Before long an album came together (Die Massen), a label created (86 Dresden), and the rest is fashwave history!
