"The musical project Vorak began in the early 1990’s when I was just at the end of high school, an idealistic youth, heavily influenced by reading Nietzsche, Gobineau and Rosenberg, and deeply immersed in studies of classical music, especially Wagner, Liszt and Beethoven. Yet I was also a typical ‘metalhead’ of the era, loving Iron Maiden, Slayer, Metallica, and Morbid Angel. Darkthrone, Emperor and Burzum were still new and exciting artistic evolutions."

"When I began to study composition more seriously, I became familiar with avant-garde classical, aleatoric and industrial music (as well as noise, grindcore, free jazz, and virtually every other extreme genre.) The early Vorak recordings are a reflection of this."

"Daniel Janecka, the ‘Supreme Kommander’ of Modern Invasion Music, was very supportive of the project, and also instrumental in the rise of other Australian acts, such as Sadistik Exekution, Bestial Warlust and Destroyer 666. Pretty much everyone in the scene at the time shared the same cultural, spiritual and political vision, but in those days it could not be displayed in too obvious a manner."

"Almost a third of a century after the original release (which was recorded back in 1994), more people than ever seem to be interested in Vorak, and hence this re-issue. The present compilation has been slightly remastered, and two tracks from the second album (‘Rhetoric of the Supermen’) have been added. With these small adjustments, it provides a better realization of my original vision."
